This study guide was designed to help you in your academic pursuits. It will give you the groundwork for a successful career in aviation and the information you need to advance your current license. There are approximately 800 questions total, and they're broken up into six different groups according to the subject areas covered on Transport Canada tests. In-depth discussion of one theme is provided in each section.

All of the insights I've gathered from 30 years of leading ATPL training seminars have been compiled in this, the most recent edition. The material is current and covers the topics that tend to cause the most stress for students as they prepare for tests. Canadian Air Regulations (CARs), Meteorology (General and Practical), Radio Aids and Flight Planning, Performance and Weight and Balance, Flight Operations (General and Human Factors), and more are all covered in the more than 800 problems included in the workbook.

Before taking your tests, we advise thoroughly reviewing each component. In order to fully grasp what is expected of you in the tests and in the air, it is highly recommended that you attend one of our ground schools lectures. The seminar attendees have a very high success percentage on the examinations.
